New Beginnings!

I am pleased to announce that starting January 10th I will be focusing all my efforts on eLearning Enhanced!

I am very passionate about creating effective, engaging, and efficient eLearning. Often this means adding just one truly unique interaction that allows the student to grasp the information in a new way. I understand not everyone has the resources to create that one thing… That is where eLearning Enhanced comes in.

My friend Jeff and I started the site less than a year ago and we been very pleased with how the community has welcomed it.  It has been very rewarding for me to create and share these widgets.

As eLearning Enhanced grew we began to get more requests for custom work. This is great in that it helps to pay my bills but it also meant less time to create the fun, inexpensive, widgets. I have also had very little time to post how-to articles or answer questions in the forums.

So I have decided to take the leap and I have resigned from my fulltime job! This will allow me to spend more time doing the work I enjoy, helping the eLearning community, and learning some new stuff myself!

As a reminder eLearning Enhanced specializes in creating simple reusable ‘widgets’ to help you improve your eLearning. Our goal is save you the expense and time of hiring a developer. We are always looking for new ideas for widgets so feel free to drop us a line if you have a request.

We create custom eLearning solutions as well. The only limit on these is your imagination; Articulate Skins, Engage Interactions, Drag-n-Drops, Data collection, you name it. Some of our customers include Polycom, Dell, and Lectora.

And finally I should mention that our other site concentrates primarily in Android development. We have several Live Wallpapers in the marketplace and a couple of apps in the works. We also have a lot of experience with PHP, Java, Flash (AS2&3), AJAX, and more.

In closing let me say thank you to the community that has made this possible. Without your support, questions, purchases, and referrals I wouldn’t even consider making this change. It’s nice to know I have your support.

Good luck and I look forward to a flow of wow widgets that will help us mere mortals shine!

Thank you all for your valuable advice and suggestions to articulate!
Let me know if anyone can help me with some particular need.
I'm structuring a course and learning with the following features:
- In the first slide there is a flash video, blocked with navigation: the student is obliged to follow it.
- At the end the student must respond to a request to proceed in navigation;
- the same thing is repeated 3 times.
- At the end there is an assessment test: if the student completes successfully should be able to acccedere manera previous videos but free, not locked, and without domande.If not exceed back to the first video to start the route.

At the moment I solved the problem by inserting, after the test, again the three videos that navigation is dependent upon passing the test. But in this way is a bit rough.
Does anyone have tips or suggestions?

I would suggest using the API to lock/unlock the slide(s).
Set a _global var after the student has completed the section so that you know if the slide should be locked when visited.
Here is some pseudo code:

//your interaction

//after success
_global.slide2Passed = true
